This is one of the main professions of JSC "Salavatsteklo".
Glass-melter is engaged in the maintenance of the technological mode of melting glass in glass melting furnaces, ensures stable loading of raw materials (batch and cullet), introduces and controls the parameters of melting glass in an automated furnace control system, supports the thermal, gas and hydraulic operation of the furnace and conducts sampling of glass.
Glass-melters work in the three main divisions of the Company:
- Production of float glass
- Production of silicates
- Production of glass containers
